Currently hiring an experienced A-Level Service Technician in our Peoria location.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Diagnose & repair complex powersports systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and braking, to factory specifications
  • Complete routine services including, but not limited to, oil & filter changes, tire mount & balance, and chain & sprocket replacement
  • Continually learn new technical information & techniques by completing online and in-class training per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses/required repairs in non-technical terms to service advisors
  • Install accessories
  • Lift heavy objects and parts when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous motorcycle, small engine, or automobile service experience
  • KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, and Kawasaki certifications are highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High-level technical and/or mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read technical diagrams
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used in powersports repair
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Own your tools to perform the tasks required at your proficiency level
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • A motorcycle license is preferred

Position: Parts Associate / Service Technician

Locations: All AEO Powersports Locations

Responsibilities:

  • Parts Associate:
    • Assist customers in finding the right parts and accessories for their powersports vehicles.
    • Maintain inventory and ensure proper stocking of parts.
    • Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Service Technician:
    • Diagnose and repair powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, and more.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections.
    • Uphold high-quality service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Shipping and Receiving
    • Receive parts delivered from vendors in the POS.
    • Research and resolve any parts discrepancies with vendors.
    • Ship parts and suspension as needed in a timely manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in powersports parts or service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of powersports vehicles is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
